If so, that is beyond my comprehension. I'd never in a million years steal someone's money. Because, if she doesn't have an explicitly stated policy that she doesn't refund deposits under *any* circumstances, that is exactly what she did. Aside from being in the hospital, I can't see an excuse for it.

No it definitely did not go to Deepak in India. Hence I dared to make the assertion that it was lost to a famous domme, and not just that I lost a deposit to a listing.

I've has this happen with multiple high profile dommes. I've gotten back my deposit about 50% of the time. In my experience most dommes are extremely bad with time management and communication. I'm sure they're inundated with emails and I bet a lot of subs don't want to talk through a 3rd party which is probably needed just like any other small business.
