I wonder if it was possible to have your arms secured behind you with belts at upper arms, elbows and wrists several times a week for an hour or two (with tension increased several times during the session) if you would eventually be able to reach the goal of elbows touching?

As I type this it strikes me that the same might apply to the strappedo position as well. You see video's of women bent over with their arms very nearly vertical while I can barely achieve a bit past horizontal.
