Hi Cheyenne. I've been in Romania for a little over a year. I just renewed my residency permit, so I plan to stay for now. So far I really like it. The first 3-6 months were a bit rough due to culture shock, the long winter and the language barrier, but I am past most of that now. Last year I finally hooked up with Ezada in Bucharest and am able to enjoy the feeling of FemDom comradery again. That is what I missed the most - that and a good steak.

But overall, the people are wonderful, it's safe, affordable and has lightening fast internet (better than most of the USA), so the essentials are covered. It's not a bad place to expat to at all. I think it's really underrated. I seldom ever hear "American" spoken and that is a good thing ;-)
