When I first started sessioning around 13 years ago, alot of the sessions would start out with me being cuffed to the cross, either facing it or away from it. I loved how the domme would be right against me, running her fingers on me, squeezing my cock or balls, and just seeing her up close in a corset or having her spit in my mouth from there.

It just seems like this was the norm and just about every session has gotten away from this now. I miss that, but I don't want to request it just to make sure it happens as I like some surprise to things.

Was this something that dommes felt was just too overdone and mainstream and decided to stop doing?

I am fairly certain alot of people still do this. Well I suppose I shouldn't speak for other people. There is just something about restraining someone very securely and then getting really close to them when they can only look.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree that this was an every session thing 10 to 15 years ago any more than it is now. It was probably something that the Dom's that you happen to be seeing at that time all did in that way.. possibly because they all shared the same training.

Don't get me wrong, I agree... I love that stuff and that was usually something that happened at some point (and still does when I get to actually play in a dungeon rather than a hotel room), but I actually recall much more of sessions starting in a more formal way with the Dom first having me strip and then kneel and kiss their foot as a way to start sessions back in the day. Like you with the cross, I miss this ritual that has seemed to fade (even with Dommes who have been around that long).

This is like the thread “What you only see at a Dommes place.” Definitely a cross of some type, and I do have a funny story about accidentally pulling the bolt & shackle attached to my right wrist out of the wall in my lust to get closer to the Mistress. (She didn’t get angry about it. In fact she was turned on.) Separately for those Dominas who embraced my “jungle” role play and had the equipment, I was put in cages at least three times to start a session, most notably Tara Indiana’s NYC dungeon of the late 1990s.
