I'm a fan of longer sessions even if finances might mean sessioning less frequently. I just find the immersive nature of a 3+ hour session so much more enjoyable than 60 minutes.

I'm curious if others feel the saam way?

This is a good question. For me, it depends on the activity and the client. Sometimes 30 minutes was appropriate. Other times 4 hours was barely enough. I also did my share of weekend sessions which were a blast. One of the elements I enjoyed about prodomming was the variety.

Yup. I definitely agree. I never go less than two hours, and I just had the longest session of my life, clocking in at ten. I don't have the opportunity to do extended sessions very often, so when the opportunity presented itself a couple of weeks ago I made the most of it. I'm very glad I did, despite the fact that my finances are still recovering! Absolutely incredible and one of the best sessions ever.

Are longer sessions preferable from a business POV? I'm guessing the unpaid time for multiple cleanups, setups, potential costume changes and allowing a time buffer between one sub leaving and the next arriving would offset any reduction in hourly income as a result of discounts for extended sessions? I expect 4 or 5 one hour sessions in a busy day would earn more money than a single 4-5 hour session but would require far more time in total.

Is one long session just easier and less hassle?......... or can they be exhausting by challenging a Domme's ability to keep the energy up and things fresh over a session of many hours?

2 hours is my happy spot. It is enough time to get comfortable and into subspace. By the second hour I am deep into headspace.

Both have pros and cons. I liked the variety and light of heart fun of 1 hour sessions, especially in the day of short notice sessions. It was like impromptu theater every day. It didn't take me out of my headspace to the point that it was hard to switch gears or I needed emotional recovery time. Intense extended sessions were great but took a while to "Come down" from. There was a time when it seemed like all anyone wanted was 8 hour, overnight and weekend sessions. I had great experiences and made killer money but I had to take a few months off to put my head back on straight after 3 or 4 months of near back to back extended play. As I headed toward the goal of retiring, I saw only a handful of extended clients. That was cool. We'd play for a few hours, jump in the hot tub, play for a few hours, go to dinner, play for a few hours and talk about how much fun it was, ect. We did sessions on boats, remote cabins deep in the woods and all kind of destination spots in addition to my dungeon. That was a great in between.

You have to take into account that active posters switch in and out. Topics, on any forum, are sometimes recycled. It is a good thing because there are always new perspectives.

If its a pro session 3 hours is my sweet spot. But my sessions are very casual and not elaborate. Ive paused a long session to eat ice cream with my domme in the middle.

Anything longer than 3 probably includes dinner or a date of some sort for me.

Ive also done some longer multi day travel with pro dommes or kinky escorts. Most of those involved “normal activities” and not an extended session.
