Don't be too shy about retrying. Many mistresses lose or miss emails. Voice emails are exceptions, but probably in the situation you were in you should have texted.

Komodo is 100% on this. Emails sometimes don't send or the wrong swipe of the finger and it's gone. Protonmail especially has a knack for not delivering emails.

For my existing clients I would not want to take that long to reply. However, I might if I were sick or on vacation. Do you know if that was the case?

New clients are a different story. Though I try to reply within 24 hours of a scene request, I just sometimes can't get everything done I want in a day.

I understand the voicemail thing. I don't even have voicemail because we don't need it. Just send an email.

There's also the possibility the message was missed or accidentally deleted. You could also send a message to make sure it wasn't lost in the shuffle -- especially if the delay was unusual.
