Too Old?

The "Too young" thread over on Maxfisch got me thinking about the other side of that question.
What is "Too old"? is there an age?....for a Domme?....for a sub?
In terms of Dommes About 10-15 years ago I played with a semi retired Domme up in mid coast Maine who I believe had been quite well known in the Boston area in the late 70's, 80's and 90's. I have no idea of her age at the time but I suspect maybe 50's (she had allowed her hair to go naturally grey).(EDIT Her website is long gone bur I found her profile on Fetlife and she gives her age as 65....still looks great!}
She was trim,fit and quite beautiful. The session was one of the better ones that I have experienced and included just about the best transition from pre-session chatting into play mode that I have ever enjoyed.
I certainly know as a sub of a "certain age" some activities are no longer on the menu due to joint issues and steadily declining flexibility frown but the urge to play is as strong as ever.

I started the "too young" thread on MaxFisch and I've had too much wine and it's pretty late... so here goes. What I meant was, who is "too young" to session with if you are a sub or a Domina? I'm over 60 now. There is no way I'd session with a Domina under 35... maybe 40. Love 'em but I can't session with ladies the age of my daughters or nieces. Just me. Having another sip of vino and going to bed. LOL! Bye.

Some additional comments, if I may. In my thread on maxfisch I mentioned my first Mistress was over 50 (after checking her bios online recently) and I was 20. The Mistress was the legendary Belle de Jour of Manhattan. Whenever I re-entered the scene, and I did that a lot from the '70s to the '90s I'd either try to have a session with her (it happened a couple of times in the mid-'80s) or follow her recommendations of ladies working for her. I trusted Belle.
One late Saturday morning in the early '90s I called her dungeon and was surprised to hear her voice. I hadn't seen her in several years. I immediately asked Bell to session with me. Belle said no, but to come in because she had someone for me. About an hour later I was there and she looked great. I kinda charmed my way into having her session with me. I was 40 or so, she had to be 70 and Belle was as hot as ever.
It is true that age is a number. But I have a thing about not sessioning with women under 35 or 40.

Are you referring to Mistress Papillon? Yes, I sessioned with her at her place in Maine about 10-12 years ago..........had a great experience.

We were probably in New England around the same time. I had a studio in Rhode Island back then. Papillion was very well thought of in the local scene. I still remember her DDI ads. How time flies when you are having fun!

I don't really have a hard and fast rule on younger Dommes but given my preference for lots of gear, great studio space and a certain reputation most of the people I play with tend to be well established and thus of a certain age.

Until recently Ive always sessioned with someone close to my age. Its gotten harder as i got older.
I now just session with one person and she is significantly younger. We get along very well. I guess age is just a number.
I hope i never get too old to session.
