It doesn't seem like a studio would have much risk at a good hourly rate and usually high demand. However, fixed costs stay, good times and bad. If there is a natural disaster, the bills still come. If there is a recession, the rent is still due. It is a continual cost commitment business. It is great when the sun is shining and everything is good. But, a bump in the road here and there can be tough. No one saw a bump quite like this one coming. I hope the best for them.
