I always "fast" as well - typically 2-4 weeks out. I find that as a means to self "tease and denial" and build anticipation to the session. I like to be "on edge and ready" when I session with my domme. The denial actually kinda "extends" the session back to when the fasting begins.
Kinda like a checklist approach - everything in place and perfect before a session. I like to compare it to a space launch. Alot of preparation in the weeks ahead, and then the countdown begins until a climatic take-off.....and the journey begins.
