Dommes have been forced into retirement because of this planned demic.
In San Francisco, there were about 10 ads up on Eros, normally there are 35 ish.
In New York, it's about 40 something. Normally 100 plus. And of those 40... I'd only want to see about 10 of the dommes and even then, I'd want to narrow that down to maybe 3.
With supply lower, you can raise those rates to $500 an hour. People who actually have money and aren't living paycheck to paycheck are the only people who will session. And since there has been such a pent up frustration and you can convince these men that they need to take care of you and it's their duty to pay you... they will.
You need to capitalize on this. Just like people did early on with hand sanitizer and masks. At peak, P95 masks that only cost $30 were selling for $250 to $300 on Ebay. Now they sell for $75 as demand has gone down.

Could it be that like many others in the service industry, dommes have dropped their ads since they are not taking sessions anyway?

It wouldn't be a bad idea for new Dom's to advertise while the rates are low and the ads are few...even if it was just to say, "Coming soon." But, my guess is that Doms without a client base may not have the money to do so. My friends, with established clients, seem to be doing fine. They have savings and other skills. They are still doing sessions but on a small and selective scale. Some clients have sent session money, knowing it may be months before they can get together. Some clients have insisted the Dom keeps their deposit for a session canceled. There is a lot of good faith in the community. Most Doms wouldn't raise their rates if it meant taking advantage of a bad situation.

Do you think certain cities and states would begin arresting Dominas and others in “related fields†for price gouging if they followed this advice during this troubled time? (Tongue-in-cheek here ladies & germs... I mean gentlemen. LOL!)

I've heard nothing good about them. From a sub's POV, it's a consolidator of information; we have otherwise no loyalty to it. And we don't want to prop up an institution that treats Dommes and others poorly.
What would you recommend instead? Twitter is somewhat searchable, but it's a better idea for someone who is established. In fetlife keywords like Goddess, Domme or Mistress can be searched along with, say, a city. But it's another crapshoot. Now's as good a time as any to put eros out of its misery.
