I don't know about older generation, but something is different about young men today. In Canada recently, 40 female freshman in 1 university was date-raped part of a hazing ritual. It's not just university, but high school, sometimes middle-school despite all the new education of sexual rights. It seems like the more you lecture boys, the worse it gets for girls.
