For me Yes. At an airport flying out with my wife. Looking for somewhere to sit and we find a spot right across from a Domme I had served less than 3 weeks earlier.
The scene included bi play along with golden consumption and strapon. When we sat the Domme and I looked at each other stunned. Right across from each other 6 feet away. I wasn’t worried she would say anything but my heart was going nuts.
I did see her again.

Years ago, a friend and, I were at a restaurant waiting for a table. Directly across from us was one of my favorite clients and, his wife. We just causally smiled and, went back to chatting. Another time, I ran into a client at our daughter's art show. Turns out they went to the same school. The looks on our faces gave us away as far as knowing each other. We just shook hands and, asked how each other were doing and, said nice to see you. We played it off fine.

To flip that around a little, when I had my first studio in Ohio, twice I ran into men that I had worked with in the vanilla world. One was a client (Turned out to be a long term client) and, the other came to one of my parties.) That was a hoot. The most awkward was when a former next door neighbor of my parents showed up for a session. I used to baby sit his kids. (This was back in the day of local classified advertising, with no photos.) A fellow dom took the appointment for me and, I made sure I was out of sight.

I had something kind of like that happen a few years ago.

A client I had seen quite a few times and had even traveled with to some fetish parties bailed on a three hour session. I found out later through an email exchange that he had been sitting in a café across from my dungeon a few hours before the session and saw my partner walk me to the building and kiss me. He said he saw me differently and could never see me as a domme again. I was kind of creeped out, but agreed, never seeing each other was a good solution.

I'd say that is a pretty good reason for deposits. What a jerk.

The hanging out at a cafe across the street from her place is a little creepy. DominaM it was for the best.

A lot creepy. I was glad to be rid of someone who took it upon himself to pry into my private time and then judged me for it.

I am not sure. A long time ago, I thought that a mistress I met only once was in the same plane, out of all places in Nepal. We did not try to speak, I was not even sure it was her, it seemed too much of a coincidence.

It can happen anywhere but even though I did see this particular local Domme again a couple of times I did stop seeing Dommes locally. I travel quite a bit around the states and find play out of state.

I used to live in a small town in Buckinghamshire, just outside of London. If I knew the client lived locally to me, I would have the discussion if that we ever ran into each other in public, I would carry on and act as if I did not know them out of professional courtesy.

Sure enough, about two weeks after one particular session, I was at Waitrose doing my food shopping and saw a client with his wife. We clocked each other, smiled slightly and looked away. I don't think his significant other noticed.

This was not the only time. It was a small town so I always thought it best to have the conversation in advance.

What was creepy was the time a fanboy stalked me on the metro in Paris. But that is another story altogether....

Yes... I once did a double with two Dommes who I knew really were just dipping their toe into the Pro waters (it was also the only double I have ever booked and I only did so because they would only take a session in tandem). We actually planned on getting together later that night but they blew me off.


However, the next day was the first day of work for my new boss and we went out to lunch... Lo and behold the two Dommes come into the same restaurant and sit at a table by the window. I outwardly maintained my composure but inside I was completely freaking out. Spent the entire time working through different scenarios amd how I would react if that happened. Luckily, nothing did.

On the flip side though, I once was out eating dinner with my Domme and as we are walking out I hear someone saying my name and it was very old frimeds of my parents (the type you call uncle and aunt). I stopped and talked to them and made up something about who she was... Meanwhile, she didn't stop and just went to the front door so it all worked out fine, but it still made me really uncomfortable.
