I agree with this also. Social media is less social for me. The community is lost in the noise of everyone trying to go viral. I just post announcements these days.

I miss when I used twitter as a kinky stream of consciousness and shit posting in general. Now, I have to think about every post as if I will lose my account. Very little upside.

I absolutely loved when this would happen but what was even better was pre & post session interactions with a Domme on that platform. I know part of what you mention is the anonymity of that interaction but for me, the exhibitionism of all those interactions while also helping to promote that particular Domme was intoxicating. It was also something that the Dommes I did it with enjoyed (pleasing Dommes is an understandable kink of mine), so that made all the interactions even better.

I am conflicted about it. I was an active user for many years. I preferred it when it was less popular. Now it just seems too public for Me trying to remain more private.

I read this to be more along the lines of commenting on something that happened in session then showing photos and naming names. If the former, I would likely find it cool that I made a positive impression.

I have successfully evaded several SWer purges from the platform, but not this round. I hated that hell site, but I really liked that my handle was @DominaM, so OG. I have a twitter for my dungeon, but I doubt I will rebuild a pro domme account again.

I still have my Instagram, BlueSkye, Threads, YouTube, and Pintrest (Yeah I was surprised at how much traffic I get from there, too.), but I am on thin ice with all of them.

I understand that X.com is better for advertising, but still, congratulations on being freed from them.

Congratulations! I was on X for work and got off around five years ago, and never looked back, and survived.

I'm sure you survived and thrived! If not for promotion I would delete all my socials and never look back. I loath them so much. It used to be fun. They used to be communities.

That's why I come back here. I like interacting with a community. Even the spambot that keeps coming around is better that all the crap I have to put up with when I go to post on socials.

Twitter (I will ALWAYS deadname X) agreed that there wasn't any violation by my account. It was all for nothing. I'm still mad though. What a stupid thing that annoyed me all day yesterday.

So back to the main topic. I guess I will not be posting session pics or anything that directly implies that I take sessions. It will be selfies and blog post links.
