Pornhub just deleted 10.000.000 videos yesterday: all videos that weren't from verified account. 70% of these 10M videos was pirated content (the best content...). That's a good news for the industry and people trying to make a living out of it, and a bad news for consumers!

Though, some say these videos are not deleted for good, but that Pornhub only buy itself time, as MasterCard and Visa banned it from their service. Pornhub needed to address a quick and strong answer to show their good faith.

Regardless of the vampire/whipping/disturbing stuff, if Pornhub actually (passively) hosted rape content and legit sex slavery content (like alleged in the NY times article), all of this was necessary. They couldn't go trough 10M videos, watch them all and delete the illegal ones.

Pirating someone else's work is a theft. Theft is a crime. If you watch pirated porn, you are complicit.

Of course, thieves who also were consumers for PornHub, through premium subscriptions and ads.

Although Pornhub deleted millions of videos, Mastercard still pulled the plug on them and a few other tube sites. Visa has not, at least so far. The type of content Porn Hub has been allowing is in the same league as what landed Max Hardcore in prison some years ago on obscenity charges. How odd they won't allow a typical bull whipping scene but have no problem with grotesque abuse upon models made to look under age and incest play.

I'm hoping what is going on with the big guys doesn't trickle down to the rest of us. C4S is tightening their belt too but hasn't lost their merchant services and, to my acknowledge, doesn't appear to be under scrutiny.

C4s deleted many categories. I heard that Pornhub was forced to accept Monero (this is a privacy crypto) as payment. This could happen sooner or later to all porn related sites. To legislators the copyrights for the porn are a distinction without a difference.

Maybe it is time to buy stock in Monero? The credit card merchants have been breathing down the neck of adult video producers for many years. Last year the state of Florida passed a bill that labeled porn a public health hazard. We may be heading for another reign of terror on adult videos, like we saw with 2257. This being said, I have no sympathy for Porn Hub and other such tube sites.

Every time I look at this thread or a similar one my blood pressure goes up. It’s infuriating and ridiculous all the restrictions and censorship put on the porn industry and sex industry too. And many of these same legislators and bankers and officials and what not are probably watching this stuff at home or on their phones. The hypocrisy of it all. Ugh. I’d like to know the percentage of the USA population that watches porn. My wild ass uneducated guess is 75% but I don’t know. You probably have a better idea then I do since you are in the business.
